The Support Center for the Study of the Brain [Centro de Apoio ao Estudo do Cérebro] is a multimedia resource center that serves the FPCE-UP and the academic community in general, including high school teachers and students. Its purposes are:
- to increase the oportunities to learn about the Nervous System and the Brain;
- to make it easy and pleasurable to adquire knowledge using materials presented in various formats that, on one hand, allow each person to learn on his/her own pace and, on the other hand, make the learning process an entertaining activity;
- to place the people learning at the center of the learning process, allowing them to manage their study of the Nervous System and the Brain;
- to present the reaserch conducted at the Laboratory of Neuropsychophysiology.
