INTROIt is with great pleasure that we invite you to the International Conference "The European Project of Social Inclusion" on the 21st June 2010. The International Conference is organized by the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto and the Research Group - Politics, Policies and Participation (CIIE - Centre for Research and Intervention in Education). This international conference conveys European researchers, academics, experts and social workers in the field of social inclusion and it also addresses the various social actors and institutions involved in this issue. Based on the European Master Course “European Perspectives on Social Inclusion”, involving thirteen European universities, this conference aims at gathering and reflecting upon what was learnt and achieved in the three courses developed since 2003. Moreover, it intends to project into the future both the research perspectives on social inclusion / exclusion and to pave the way for new similar initiatives. English is the official language of the International Conference. We look forward to welcoming you to Porto!
