Description

ESSA Project is a Certificate in University Social Responsibility Auditing that will focus on University Social Responsibility (USR), a topic of increasing interest and concern of current students, the higher education sector itself, and national governments and supra-national bodies.

The project objectives are to:

  • Develop and deliver a facilitator training manual to be included in Open Educational Resource (OER) deliverables from the project, and to incorporate methodological guidance on promoting reflective experiential learning.
  • Develop and deliver an auditor training programme (in blended mode) for student auditors of University Social Responsibility, that will be certificated with ECTS 10 Credit - Certificate in Social Responsibility Auditing (EQF Level 6).
  • Create a framework for the assessment of the learning outcomes from the training and ‘reflective experiential learning’ associated with the learner’s participation in audit activities.

Following review and final revision, produce and disseminate the OER outputs from the project and launch these at a trans-national European conference in Brussels, hosted by ESU.
