TWO TYPES OF DISCOUNTS WILL BE PROVIDED:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-8cf370e7 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1) FOR NON-MEMBERS OF THE IIPB CONSORTIUM<\/strong><br><br>Ten reduced conference fees (75\u20ac) will be awarded to non-members of the IIPB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Eligibility criteria<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To be the presenter and first author of an abstract (poster, oral presentation, or symposium presentation) accepted for presentation at the conference in Porto.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To be a scholar affiliated with a research institution from a low or medium human development country** as defined by Human Development Index (HDI*) 2023.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Preferential criteria: to be a young scholar from one of those countries (i.e., those who are currently working on pre-doctorate levels or have obtained their doctoral degree within the last two years).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>*HDI is a metric compiled by the United Nations Development Programme and used to quantify a country&#8217;s &#8220;average achievement in three basic dimensions of human development: a long and healthy life, knowledge, and a decent standard of living.
