Doctoral Program in Education

Applications

The Doctoral Program in Education (DPE-UP) is proud of the diverse profile of its students, and welcomes applications from full-time students, but also from those students with a professional career who might choose a part-time pathway. These professionals include teachers from pre-school to higher education, adult education trainers or mediators, and those working in the fields of health, social welfare or arts who are interested in approaching their field within an educational perspective. This diversity is a major strength of the program that is related to a broad vision of education as developing both in- and out-of-schools and that recognizes learning as a life-wide phenomena.

The DPE-UP has also been welcoming a growing number of foreign students and professors, and is well established as an international program. As such, it is expected that doctoral students have some level of communication skills in English.
